Estimated postage weight versus actual chargeable weight - When will the overcharged postage be refunded?

Calculating the estimated weight of the package and the actual chargeable weight is a feature of DemoBuy to safeguard the interests of both users and the platform. The difference in package shipping fees is promptly refunded, truly benefiting users and not charging them an extra penny.

What is the estimated charge weight?

After the goods are warehoused, there will be a weight with the original packaging of the goods. When submitting the waybill, the system will estimate the packaging weight based on the warehoused weight of the goods and calculate the total weight. If you request to remove the packaging when submitting the waybill, the weight measured after packaging will be inconsistent, that is, the total weight at the time of submitting the waybill is the estimated cost weight.

What is the actual chargeable weight?

After the package you submitted is packed, the warehouse will weigh and measure the size of the package. If the logistics provider does not adjust the billing weight of the package after it arrives at the warehouse, the actual billing weight will be based on the weight and measurement at the warehouse. If the logistics provider adjusts the billing weight of the package again, the actual billing weight shall be subject to that of the logistics provider. The actual chargeable weight can be checked by clicking on the package details three days after the package is dispatched.

Warm reminder: International freight charges are based on the weight and volume of the package. When choosing the volume-based logistics method for delivery, if the volume-based weight of the package is greater than the actual weight, the volume-based weight will be used for charging. That is, the actual chargeable weight of the package is the volume-based weight of the package. If the actual chargeable weight of the packed package is higher than the estimated chargeable weight, the system will notify the user to make up the shipping fee. If the estimated chargeable weight of the package is higher than the actual chargeable weight and exceeds the additional weight range, the system will automatically refund the difference to your DemoBuy account balance within 72 hours after the package is dispatched.
